Does anyone know of a "Ladies who Lunch" club or would any ladies be interested in starting one up in Quesada?

There are several ladies clubs in the area, and there are various lunch clubs, but none I believe are just ladies in Quesada so that could be very interesting.

Let me know more.

Would anyone interested in "forming" a Ladies Who Lunch Club in Quesada please send me an email to [email protected]. I will be in Quesada on 6th April and would like to arrange an initial meeting after that date - thanks

There used to be a Quesada Ladies Lunch Club that met on Tuesdays at the Hotel Corazon.

BEST PLACE TO EAT

I need to find a good place to eat next month for a very important event for 8 people in Quesada. I would be interested to hear from anyone who could recommend a place as I do not know many myself.

Quesada

Read just below, very good advice with a wide choice

Myself & friends had a lovely lunch yesterday in the Banana Tree. €9 for 3 courses and a drink, very good Thai food.

One of the best places that I have been to is the WOK, there are a few of them around and so far I have done 3 of them. The one on the golf course is fine 7.95 eat as much as you can, the one just outside the arches to the right, 12.95 not very good at all. And the one in Dona Pepa GREAT place.

If you are looking for Spanish food then Goyo´s on the Town Hall Square, lovely food, and great people very varied menu

The Spice Hut is a good place for indian food and the Argentinian steak house opposite is also great for meat lovers

Try Frissan at San Miguel or Parkside in Los Montesinos. Always top quality food and service, great for a special occasion. Make sure you book early!!

If it's for a special occasion and if you don't mind going into Guadamar then Portico Mar takes some beating and I guarantee you'll get good food, fantastic service in really lovely surroundings. Otherwise Lets Eat in Benimar is also good. Maz

I can only thank you all so much for taking the time to answer my request, what great people live in Quesada. It's our 50th wedding
anniversary, and we have our 3 children and spouses coming over. I cannot remember the last time we were all together in the same room so
it's very special for us both.

Commented Dave Long in Rojales 2011-03-28 16:38:03 UTC

You must let us know where you end up going. Hope you all have a really great time. Maz

Our choices would be: Let's Eat, Benimar, Porticomar, Guardamar, El Gusto, Benijofar, the WOK opposite Atalaya. All of them offer a la carte or MDD. Congratulations and hope you have a lovely evening with your family.

Commented Hackett in Quesada 2011-03-30 09:31:25 UTC

if its a special occasion i would go a little further out into Rojales there is a stunning place very quaint its called Viloriens

Commented Zumba with Lisa in Quesada 2011-03-30 13:59:48 UTC

I agree with Zumba with Lisa's comment. Veloriens really is a little bit extra special for an occassion such as yours. It's a little bit off the beaten track to Quesada but worth it!

I would recommend Portico Mar in Guardamar. Excellent food , service and nice surroundings.

Yes Frissan at San Miguel is gorgeous, we go with friends as a treat whenever we are over at our place in Dona Pepa, but you have to book early to get a table

Opposite La Laguna Hotel is Chinatown Laguna which is Chinese. They have an all you can eat for 10 euros each (not Wok buffet style, much better than that) consisting of starters, then soup and crispy duck pancakes, followed by main course, as long as you eat what you order it's 10 Euros, or around the back of there, is the Indian Ocean restuarant, or over by the La Marquesa golf course is the La Marquesa Chinese. All are excellent food and hard to chose between.

EASTER HOLIDAYS

Hi all
we are coming out to Quesada on the 4th to the 18th April can you let me know the easter holiday dates please and are there any traditional easter celebrations during those dates in Torrevieja/Rojales/Quesada etc/

Quesada

I think the 25th is Fiesta Day. Hols 21st & 22nd and maybe 24th. Maz

Commented Maz in Quesada 2011-03-30 20:14:02 UTC

Semana Santa in Rojales is on Easter Sunday. If you go to the town hall (rojales), or local police station in Quesada they have an A5 leaflet with all the dates and times of the different processions. Easter Sunday one is the best though.

Commented Joolz in Quesada 2011-03-30 19:18:12 UTC

MINI GOLF

I have been told that there is a mini golf place in Quesada, but I am not too sure where it is. I have looked round the golf course but can not find it. Can anyone help please. I have the grand children coming over for Easter and need some where I can take them for a few hours

Quesada

It's at the far end of the road with Yorkshire Linen and the Lime Bar in it - you can access it from the roads that run at either side of the arches

Commented spanglish in Quesada 2011-03-29 14:26:37 UTC

So no where near the La Marquesa golf club where I have been looking for the last few days.

Commented Patti in Quesada 2011-03-29 14:46:53 UTC

Hi Patti
You were looking in the right place but the course is in a Hotel send me an email at [email protected] and I will get special FREE tickets to you in time for Easter. Susan

Commented Susan Reader in Quesada 2011-03-29 16:48:49 UTC

Hi Patti,

There is a new mini golf not far from the golf course.. If you get to the end of the road where the golf course ends, turn left as if you are heading to Rojales its on your right. It used to be the garden centre which had the spiderman on a pole..

Hope this helps :)

Commented La Luz Bar/Restaurant in La Marina 2011-03-29 20:18:26 UTC

I didn't realise that there was more than one mini-golf in Quesada!! The people who own the one near to the gates also have a cafe.

Commented spanglish in Quesada 2011-03-30 21:15:34 UTC

There is also a mini golf course in the Hotel Corozon just behind the Marquesa Golf Club, the one with the flags on the hill
If you pick up one of their leaflets they have a FREE game offer on it

The mini golf at hotel corazon is fantastic, take a look at the website www.hotelelcorazon.com
They have a nice outside play area and a bowling alley, plus they do nice food. My children love it up there.
